The reason why we came up with the motif HOLLYWOOD.

                    Homecoming is a celebration when school faculty, students, and alumni get together. It is an excellent opportunity to interact with fellow students and faculty members. In fact, it has been a practice of Gandara central elementary school for the past 10 years to celebrate this grand event of the year most looked forward to.

This gathering enables alumni to meet new people which broadens the attendee's horizon while interacting with fellow former schoolmates of GCES. Also, a time to reconnect with old friends. Gives alumni a chance to come back after being away for a long time and talk to their old friends and teachers and reconnect for the future.

 

                 It is a tradition of welcoming back former students and celebrating an organizational existence. But it seems that not all the alumni could able to attend the homecoming and it really affects the unity and camaraderie among alumni. The most common reason is that most of us alumni are not confident enough and they have insecurity because they say that they aren't confident to face their old friends especially if some of them have already added titles to their names and they are successful in their careers. Through this, the batch came up with the concept of HOLLYWOOD with the tagline of Be Glamorous. Be Confident. Be YOU. Meaning that this Hollywood concept is uplifting oneself. It is the moment to feel of being a Hollywood star because every one of us has potential. How can you meet and greet each other if you don't have the confidence to face each other again? Hollywood is an event of reminiscing the past, rekindling a friendship, and promoting camaraderie among alumni.

                   Thus, the host batch Hollywood '94 proposes the conduct of the 11th Grand Alumni Homecoming of Gandara Central Elementary School and its relative activities.
